Painting is in the air! A lifetime ago I would go out in the boonie (yes beyond the boonies I usually am :0) in an old pick-up truck and paint. I found the solitude wonderful. The only interruption was an occasional wild turkey, rabbit or farmer. But usually I was left alone with my thoughts and the work at hand. I have started working on a series of landscapes based on the land around our home.

Here in Kansas it is storming tonight. So far we have been fortunate and missed out on tornadoes and any damaging hail. (fingers crossed). But, with the bad weather comes an excuse to stay inside and create. So be on the lookout for images of new art soon.
